Five Finger Strand Tide Clock
Five Fingers Strand lies on the east side of Trawbreaga Bay, north of the Bar Mouth The name comes from five narrow sea stacks that protrude from the water on the north side of the beach which allude to fingers.The beach is backed by sand dunes which are reputed to be some of the highest Miram grass dunes in Europe. They are up to 30 meters in height and have been in formation for approximately 5,000 years.
A Tide clock allows you to see the state of the tide for a given location at a glance.The hand shows the current stage of the tidal cycle (high tide, low tide or on the way in or out). The tide clock face is simple to read and setting the hand can be done in a matter of minutes.Never leave the house again without knowing the state of your local tide!
